Not only will you need to locate information about the film itself with reviews and native voices, but you will need to locate resources discussing American Indians & stories represented in film. Your best bet will be to begin looking for books and articles in Search@UW, but you can also look in the databases recommended below.
Keyword Tips
When using databases to find scholarly film studies articles, try searching for the title of the film you are researching. If you are getting results not related to film studies, try adding in search terms like:
- film criticism
- film studies
- film critique
You can also try to search using keywords that are related to a theme in your film you are exploring such as:
- female representation
- native film representation
- historical accuracy
