Request Materials

Learn how to request different types of items. If we don't have the material you need, we can likely borrow it from another library.

Articles (digital delivery)

Sometimes you may not be able to find the articles you need within UWGB's online collection. You can expand your search to include articles that you can request via interlibrary loan, at no cost to you.

  1. On the search screen, select the UWGB and Requestable Items scope.

  2. Articles that are not immediately available will have Request this item below the publication information. Select that link or the title of the article.

  3. Click on For more accurate results, please sign in and enter your UWGB username and password.

  4. Select the Get It option to receive a digital copy:

  5. Scroll down and click the Send button on the auto-populated form.

  6. You will receive an email when the article is available for you to download. Article requests generally arrive within 1-3 business days, though they may take longer or shorter than that.

Books (physical items)

If you aren't able to get your book from the shelves immediately, you can place a request.

  1. Click on Request this item.

Or click on the title, then click on Request Options.

  2. Sign in to see request options. Enter your UW-Green Bay user name and password.

  3. Click on Get It to request the full book.

If the book is owned by a UW-Green Bay library, look for the UWGB Libraries Request link and click to open the form.

  4. Click the Send button to submit the form.

You can choose to pick up items at Cofrin Library in Green Bay or at the Sheboygan campus library.

If you're an online student or don't have a local pickup option and you live outside Brown and Sheboygan counties, choose UW-Green Bay Online Education to have materials mailed to your home.

  5. You will get an email telling you when and where your item is available to pick up.
