Google Search Tips
You can use a combination of search operators to conduct advanced Google searches. Here are three strategies:
- Search a specific website with site: followed by the website's URL
- Example: site:greenbaywi.gov
- Search for an exact phrase using quotation marks
- Example: "gender identity"
- Search for related terms using OR. Results will have one or more of the terms.
- Example: transgender OR nonbinary
Use a combination of these techniques to efficiently search municipality websites. For example: "sexual orientation" OR "gender identity" OR "transgender" OR "gender expression" OR "gender nonconformance" site:greenbaywi.gov
