Use the steps below to find or create permalinks for resources from specific databases or vendors. If your database isn't listed here, just ask a librarian.
Please don’t copy and paste the URL from your browser's address bar unless these instructions tell you to. It usually won’t work as a stable link for students.
Information about streaming videos
Use the following search box to find streaming videos from any of our platforms/vendors.
In general, we recommend that you do not use an embed code to add UW-Green Bay videos to Canvas because it can occasionally cause access problems. If you choose to use an embed code, please also provide the permalink for your students.
Films on Demand

When viewing a video, select Share under the video player.

Select Embed/Link.

Click to copy the Record URL. This link will allow UW-Green Bay users to access the video from on and off-campus.
Alexander Street

When viewing a video, select Share under the video description.

Click the first Copy button (under via Permalink). This link will allow UW-Green Bay users to access the article from on and off-campus.

When viewing a video, select Embed under the video player.

Copy the URL listed under Permanent Link. This link will allow UW-Green Bay users to access the video from on and off-campus.
