Follow the prompt for your group.

Prepare to share with the class in 1-2 minutes:

  • What keywords or phrases did you try?
  • Did you use filters (peer-reviewed, date range, subject terms, etc.)?
  • Did you run into any challenges (e.g., too many results, too few, irrelevant articles)?
  • How did you adjust your search to get better results?
  • How do you know that your source is credible?
  1. Use Search@UW to find research about your chosen topic.
  2. Use Statista to find some statistics that support your topic.
  3. Use CQ Researcher to research your chosen issue. (Hint: you might need to get creative with how you describe your topic!)
  4. Use Academic Search Ultimate to find research about your topic.
